The start of the year is a good time to take stock of your PC, in the same way you might be doing in other parts of your life. Good habits can make or break your computing experiences.
But while you can’t take your PC to the gym to get it toned, there are plenty of good habits you can start doing now. Getting started is the hardest part, so here are some reminders of my top blog posts which will get you going.

Keeping your computer’s software up to date is a bit of a chore. You don’t often get anything new, at least not features you can use. However, you’re getting security updates, and probably stability improvements too. Remember, if your outdated software crashes in the middle of an important task and brings the rest of the computer with it, you might lose something you’ve spent a lot of time and effort on. We all know that feeling, when we glance at the clock to work out just how many hours it’s been since we last saved!
